June’s Record Club: 2019 – THE BEST RECORDS OF THE YEAR… SO FAR!

GRC2019sofar

We’re back on Thursday 13th June at Glossop Labour Club for our first ever mid-term review. Normally, we save our favourite records of the year for our annual end-of-year round up, but it’s often a case of too much music and not enough time. So this is our solution!

2019 has been a great year for new music so far, so this is your chance to come and share a few tracks from your fave new releases of the year, plus we’ll make room for any 2018 stragglers and Record Store Day 2019 releases you may have picked up. Then we’ll see how many tracks we can play!

Doors open 8pm and music starts at 8.30pm. Don’t be late.

In other news, we have a new monthly radio show beginning in June on the rather fab Radio Free Matlock. And the first one is a debut albums special with albums suggested by our Twitter and Facebook followers (thank you!). Tune in here on Tuesday 18th June at 8pm and find out what made the playlist. We’ll send out a reminder nearer transmission time.
