Hello record clubbers, hope you’re all doing well.
We don’t usually do a session in August, but these are different times, so we hope you can join us ONLINE on Thursday 13th August for an evening of music from the 1990s.
It’s a decade we haven’t explored very much at record club, probably due to most of us buying stuff on CD or tape back then and neglecting poor old records. As a result, original 90s vinyl pressings now come with a hefty price tag. But we’re not going to let that stop us in the virtual realm!
From baggy, rave, grunge and Britpop, through to acid jazz, hip hop, drum & bass and more, tell us your favourite 90s artists, albums and tracks and we’ll play as many as we can on the night!
Some of you have already suggested tracks to play, but if you haven’t, there’s plenty of time to do that. Our Twitter and Facebook pages are the best places to get in touch, or you can drop us a line here if social media isn’t your thing.

We’ll hopefully be hearing from some of the record club regulars who’ll be playing their favourite tracks from that decade alongside as many of the suggestions we’ve received. All you have to do is sit back and listen from the safety and comfort of your own home! We’ll be live tweeting throughout the night and doing our best to keep up with Facebook posts too, so please come and say hello.

NB: we’ll be using Mixcloud for our live stream, which seems to work best on a computer or mobile browser, but there is an app too if you want to give that a try. We’ll see how it goes!
