This September marks seven years since we started our monthly record club sessions, and while we haven’t been able to meet up like we usually do these last few months, we’ll be marking the occasion with another virtual online record club.
And as it’s our 7th birthday, the theme is SEVEN. Here’s what we’re looking for:
- Seven in a song or album title or lyric.
- An artist’s seventh album or single.
- The seventh track on an album.
- Bands with seven members.
- A year that ends in 7 (1957, 1967 etc, but only 1977 from the 70s will be valid)
Whatever the seven connection, make a suggestion. Over to you!
Some of you have already suggested tracks to play, but if you haven’t, there’s plenty of time to do that. Our Twitter and Facebook pages are the best places to get in touch, or you can drop us a line here if social media isn’t your thing.

NB: we’ll be using Mixcloud for our live stream, which seems to work best on a computer or mobile browser, but there is an app too if you want to give that a try. We’ll see how it goes!
