Our 10th anniversary celebrations continue on Thursday 13th April with Jeff Wayne’s musical version of The War Of The Worlds, which we’ll be playing on vinyl and in full.
Released in 1978 and based on H.G. Wells’ 1897 science fiction novel, the album took almost 2 years to complete, and features contributions from David Essex, Justin Hayward, Phil Lynnot, Julie Covington and, of course, narration from actor Richard Burton.
Alongside the album, we’ll explore some of the songs and recordings by Jeff Wayne that preceded his masterpiece.
Doors 8pm, music starts at 8.30. See you there!
