Glossop Record Club returns on Thursday 12th September to play one of the finest albums by a Manchester band on vinyl and in full.

Lost Souls, the debut album by Doves, was released in 2000, after a decade that saw them put out a handful of dancefloor classics under the name Sub Sub, slowly morphing into Doves in the late 90s amidst a fire that destroyed their studio and the loss of their mentor, Rob Gretton.

Alongside the album, we’ll also be playing a few tracks from their time as Sub Sub, plus collaborations with Bernard Sumner, Jane Weaver and Badly Drawn Boy.

Doors open at 8pm and the music starts at 8.30pm. See you there.
