February’s Record Club: BIRTHDAY No.1s NIGHT

We’re back at Glossop Labour Club on Thursday 13th February, when you’ll get the chance to play one record, and one record only – the song that was number 1 in the UK singles chart on the day you were born!

You can find out what it was here officialcharts.com/archive/

Or here, if you were born before November 1952, popmusichistory.co.uk/sheet-music.

It doesn’t matter if it’s from the original single, a reissue, on an LP or compilation, so long as it’s on vinyl and plays at 33, 45 or 78, and it’d be great if you can tell us something about it too. It’ll be good fun.

If you need any help tracking down a vinyl copy of your birthday number 1 song to play, get in touch and we’ll see what we can do. Contact us here or via one of the social media links below. And don’t leave it til the last minute!

Doors open at 8pm and the music kicks off at 8.30pm. See you there.
